FIONA BURNS
SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSOCIATE
Fiona holds a B.Des in Visual Communication from the National College of Art & Design, Dublin, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts Administration from University College Dublin. In 2005, Fiona joined Hexhibit as a co-director. Prior to this, she was head of design with Public Communications Centre (a communications agency working with progressive non-profits) for six years.
Fiona has worked with organisations such as the Department of Health and Children, Amnesty International, Barnardos, Irish Hospice Foundation and Friends of the Earth. Many of these projects involved integrated media including publications, outdoor advertising, event design and displays. Fiona’s current role involves direct client management responsibilities. She currently works with the Arts Council, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Creative Europe, Flac (Free Legal Advice Centres), GlasDrum, Health Business Services (HBS, the business division of the HSE) and Pobal. Previously Fiona worked within the arts sector for organisations including the European Institute of Design & Disability, Artists Association of Ireland, City Arts Centre and Very Special Arts Ireland.
