Mark is a creative copywriter who specialises in working with charities and organisations that have a positive impact on the world. He was previously the senior copywriter at Macmillan Cancer Support for four and a half years, before becoming independent in 2010. Since then, Mark has worked on a wide range of fundraising and marketing projects for leading Irish and UK charities such as The Irish Cancer Society, Mencap, The Children’s Society and World Wildlife Fund. These projects include the creation of direct mail fundraising packs, fundraising guides for single events and whole organisations, complete website rewrites, digital advertising campaigns and public health information. In his spare time, Mark is a keen writer and illustrator of children’s stories, and hopes to become the next JK Rowling so he can give a gift or two to many of the amazing organisations he works for. He may also buy a small tropical island out of his millions too.
