Saoirse has over 9 years’ experience working in the not-for-profit sector where she has a proven track record in leading on the strategic and creative development of fundraising campaigns which she has experience in delivering across a wide range of channels.

Saoirse is also a proud self-professed data nerd. She has a strong knowledge of donor databases and a great understanding of how crucial data is to success in fundraising.

Prior to joining Persuasion Republic, Saoirse worked in Threshold where she developed her broad knowledge in fundraising and cultivated a career for herself in the not-for-profit sector before rising to the position of Assistant National Fundraising Manager. During her time in Threshold, Saoirse worked across all programmes of fundraising including Direct Mail, Regular Giving, Major Giving, Corporate Partnerships, Legacy, Tax and Trusts & Foundations.

In the past number of years, her projects in Threshold have won gold and bronze at the national An Post Direct Marketing awards. She also successfully completed the Diploma in Fundraising Management with Charities Institute Ireland in 2019. She was the winner of the Charities Institute Ireland Future Leader Award in 2020.
