Katie Phelan

Katie is a freelance editor and writer who has worked on several fundraising projects for some of Ireland’s leading charities. She holds an M.Phil in creative writing from Trinity College Dublin and a certificate in fundraising copywriting from the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy. She is currently working toward an editorial certification from the University of California Berkeley, where she received the Global Impact scholarship for her work in Brazil.
Katie’s nonfiction writing has appeared in The Telegraph, The Best American Sports Writing, The Masters Review, The Irish Times, The Sun literary magazine, and others. She also won the Masters Review 2020 flash fiction prize, was a finalist for the Fractured Lit micro fiction prize, and was nominated for the Best Small Fictions anthology in 2020.
